Spotted at Papa John's Corporate Headquarters
(they're fake - they're supposed to scare the geese - they rotate around a stick and have bushy tails. The geese didn't seem afraid of them but before I saw the sign they gave me the willies).
Pancake had a fun day today but for some reason was tearing everything up - she hauled in this huge log to chew on, then found yet another skull laying around which she shredded. She gets rammy staying indoors too long.
We did watch an albatross which was diving in the lake - this was the first time I've ever seen an albatross in our area here. I did not have my good camera with me so I could get a shot of it.
She is happily snoring on the couch now.
One of the "Vintage Warbirds" flown at the Thunder Air Show this past Saturday coming in for a landing in Louisville.
Hail storm broke out as I passed by Southeast Christian Church so I stopped and took a few shots.

It's taken about almost a year to teach this dog to play - she started figuring it out after we started taking her to the park and dog parks so she could watch other dogs play. At first she would look up at us like, "What's up with them?"
Then she would run after sticks but that was all. After watching the other dogs she figured out the dog thing to do was to pick them up, so she got that. But she apparently felt she was a hunter, not a retriever. This week we got her to pick them up and shes now going into the water to get them. Then she would run away with them. But tonight she would bring them to us and tonight was the first night she actually swam for the first time - but only for the big stick. I think it empowers her. : )
She was a rescue and badly abused, so she's really come a long way. She still is very shy with strangers but is getting better. It's been a wonderful transformation to watch her learning dog stuff, though.
