This shot from New Zealand slipped under the radar that I forgot to post it.. This was on the way to Mt Cook..
In NYC or Miami this place would be called a bodega. Here in Colombia it’s a tienda or barra. In my neighborhood in Medellin there are many small stores with a few tables that serve food and drinks. They are the ultimate community gathering places.
Given the choice, would you opt for a 6 hour layover in the airport or... would you book the 20 hr layover and spend the night? Me? I bought the ticket with the long layover in Lima, Peru so I could see a little bit of the city. For future reference... Lima has great ceviche and the sunsets aren't too shabby either...

in a city with lots of historic Neo-Gothic and Art Nouveau architecture the Puente de la Mujer or the Women's Bridge is an eye stopper. Especially at night. spanning the Rio de la Plata in Buenos Aires the bridge stands out even in modern Puerto Madero.
I really like dreamy out of focus backgrounds. Shallow depth of field light shimmering on the lake. Perfect.
