THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH HAVING A LITTLE HOPE. WITH HAVING A DREAM.
CORONA SUMMER
This summer was really tough. We are not sure of what coming next and taking too much precaution. I was never like that before. I'm a spontaneous person who always lives a simple life far away from light. It was hard for me on several sides.
This series represents my state of mind during this awkward period. I'm not here to show the beauty of our country because we know very well it's beautiful as much as any country in the world. I’m not going to discuss any subject on these pictures. This series will be different from all my precedent works.
One of the most observed holidays in Colombia is Días de las Velitas (Little Candle Day). It's celebrated on December 7th, on the eve of the Immaculate Conception which is a public holiday in Colombia. This day is the unofficial start of the Christmas season around the country...
A short 2.7 mile hike led us to this awesome view of Mills Lake inside Rocky Mountain National Park.
Sitting in the center of Buenos Aires, the Cementario Recoleta is some impressive real estate. 14 acres of Art Deco, Art Noveau and Neo-Gothic mausoliums. Some are well kept up by families and others have fallen into disrepair. I love wandering around and finding interesting details to photograph.

I was so impressed with the Palacio Barolo that I might need to go the tour again. Between the history, Neo Gothic - Romanesque architecture and all the cool details the building is a worthy visit.
Comuna 13 was once considered the most dangerous barrio in Medellin, Colombia. A few years ago the city invested money to transform and reinvent the neighborhood by building 6 outdoor escalators to help the residents access the steep hillside plus funded local artists to create public art. It is now considered safe to visit the barrio (during the day).
Unfortunately there are setbacks, last week there was a turf war and 14 young men were killed. To translate the banner in the photo, "the violence does not beat us". I spoke with numerous locals both young and old who are excited about the progress that the barrio has made and vow to move forward. They are not willing to let the local gangs destroy all that they have achieved.
What I love most about Colombia is the resilience of the people here, even after a constantly violent history they tend to be friendly and happy.
The view of the badlands near Dubois, WY photographed from the plateau of Table Mountain.
Looking at this image makes me wonder... if Montana is called Big Ski Country... why isn't Wyoming called Big Cloud Country?
The landscape of Antoquia is mountainous and lush. Tavel is either up. Or down. Cerro Tusa in the background tops out at 1850 meters (6070') and is unique for its pyramidal shape. The patchwork of what looks like farm land on the side of a mountain in the foreground is just that... coffee, bananas, yucca and a host of other fruits abound here. The Colombian landscape continues to impress me...

Located in the Chapinero district of Bogota, the gothic styled Basilica of our Lady Lourdes was completed in 1875. The year round average temperature in Bogota is 60F and typically overcast. To walk by and see the sun shining on the church was a perfect photo op.
Cartagena was founded in the 1500's as a major port to ship silver and other pillaged goods to Spain. It is one of the first cities established in South America and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984.
The Ciudad Vieja or Old City is filled with colorful old buildings many of them have gorgeous plants cascading from the balconies.
