There is so much diversity in England. So many things to explore and see. Most tourists don't take time o discover Cornwall, located as it is at the extreme southwestern tip of Great Britain. It is exceptionally pleasant and beautiful. I got caught up in the television series "Poldark" because it was filmed largely on location here. The windswept and sea battered cliffs go on as if forever. This is a magical part of England.

Canada is vast. Really vast. Really, really, really vast. Yet the vast majority of its citizens, 85-90%, live within 100 miles of the border with the USA. The remainder of the country is sparsely populated. Yukon is 475,000 square kilometers (183,000 square miles) with a population of 36,000. 25,000 of those people live in White Horse, the capital.

Douglas Fur isn't one to let a little icky winter weather get him down.
"Come here! Come here!" he shouted from his room. "I ordered two tickets to paradise. Pack your bags. We'll leave tonight."
"Douglas, you are listening to too much 70s music. And just how did you pay for those tickets anyway?" I ask.
I do love Brittany. A place that should be on everyone's travel bucket list. I love its distinct Celtic culture experienced through food, music, dance, costume, and language. The Breton language is one of six remaining Celtic languages along with Scots Gaelic, Irish, Manx, Welsh, and Galician. The villages and towns beg to be explored. The intensely dramatic seascapes beg to be heard and photographed. Menhirs thousands of years old dot the land.
