This is a close up of a lemon merangue pie. I liked the way the peaks were and that the little beads just stood out and sparkled. It tasted really good too!

A lesson practicing emergency dismounts (basically falling off your horse in an emergency, always good to practice sometimes,) Also everyone is wearing some sort of Halloween thing, although most of it got taken off.
On a solitary dog-walk one winter afternoon...I saw this guy playing hoops with a tennis ball...the shadows were perfect...BUT NO CAMERA...I literally RAN HOME (with dog in tow) grabbed my camera and although he was still there...the perfect(?) shadow shots...were missed by a few minutes...CARRY YOUR CAMERA WITH YOU!...

On my first day as a driving instructor in The Windsor Regiment (1977), my student panicked and hit the accelerator while making a left hand turn causing the Jeep to roll. Lesson learned?...Always keep your left hand on the emergency brake and don't be afraid to use it. A lesson that literally saved my life 2 years later. This photo was taken by A.
