When Steen Georg Christensen and Erling Andersen designed the Picto clock in 1984, they especially wanted to continue developing the conventional clocks design and they therefore concentrated on the form and the function. The designer duo furthermore wanted to create an “image” of the time. They were successful transforming the Rosendahl Picto into a modern classic.
The graphic expression of Picto is modern and minimalistic, which is why it is more contemporaneous than ever. More advantages of the clock are in the revolutionary, rotating dial, which makes Picto remarkably different, even 30 years after it has been launched. The Rosendahl Timepieces Picto clock’s dial rotates contrasting all the common clocks with ticking pointers.
Picto leans on the imagination of a rotating world and the time passing simultaneously. The hours pointer is a fixed element at one place of the dial, together with the “normal” minutes pointer they are the only elements of the clock: Less is often more.

I am afraid I will probably have to post and run mostly for the next couple of weeks or so. I will visit and comment where possible even if it's just one word.

I thought of this idea whilst doing my pic yesterday, it didn't work quite as planned...does it ever? But it's more or less what I had in mind.
Sorry, I had two versions of this, but got enough comments on this one, I finally pulled the other version. Thanks for helping me to decide!
Fun with shadows at home with the morning light. I like how the real transition to the shadows so seamlessly

In gardening, a spade is a hand tool used to dig or loosen ground, or to break up lumps in the soil. Together with the fork it forms one of the chief implements wielded by the hand in agriculture and horticulture. It is sometimes considered a type of shovel.
Its typical shape is a broad flat blade with a sharp lower edge, straight or curved. The upper edge on either side of the handle affords space for the user's foot, which drives it into the ground. The wooden handle ends in a cross-piece, sometimes T-shaped and sometimes forming a kind of loop for the hand.

Sometime beauty is just a step away from you. Even when your naked eye can't see the beauty, a closer look reveals a diamond in the rough. Sauntering through the maze of lanes in the old part of town they emerge in front of the pier. A light drizzle accompanies their steps. It isn't unwelcome after the heat of the party room. He becomes gradually aware of the turn events may take. She has been aware long ago. The sea spreads before their eyes, a thick dark wall with no boundaries, the waves breaking far in the distance at low tide. Down the seafront the pebbles on the beach reflect the yellowish gleam of the street lamps.
