The lisianthus again toady, while they still have some life in them.
except for a little saturation on the blue, this is sooc. i was shooting deep across 4th street at what i thought was a window, though i'm now not sure what it is.

The RNLI truck was travelling along the beach in the sea fog and liked the minimal feel to this.
Hope you like.
Before I picked my Nikon Camera up again I spent the last year creating abstracts just using a Samsung S10 and a few photo apps to aid my creativity and I thought I would share one of the many images I created with the Flickr community.
I like to point out you don't need top end photographic equipment to produce nice photos.
Hope you like 👍
Bauhausarchitecture by Mies van der Rohe, almost 100 years old, but so fit, really timeless architecture

For Macro Monday Theme - Just white Paper
1/300: 100 x challenge - January's theme is minimalism.
I took a few sheets of white paper (cut them in half to save waste) folded them over and stapled them to keep them together then positioned them on another sheet of white paper, held in place with a sticky pad. The blue is just shadow, no colour added.
I'm sorry for the lack of comments, I am not going to be around much over the next two or three months. I will stop by when I can to post for challenges and will try to leave a comment (probably limited to one word) and or hit the fave button...not something I am fond of doing without a comment but I hope you will be understanding for a while. I am missing the 365 and my daily Flickr fix! I do appreciate your continued support and encouragement but equally don't expect comments when I can't reciprocate much.

Macro Monday - bag. HMM
Another high key still life as well as tripling up on challenges today as I am short on time.
I am trying to catch up with comments however the panda has other ideas! I am able to leave comments on some pics but I can't see all of them and some that I click on, nothing happens...very frustrating! I may have to resort to just clicking the fave button...not something I like to do.

38/52: Project 52 - something I use every day.
I've done this a couple of times before but I don't think for a while. Time is tight at the moment so I just went with this idea when I thought of it and it's a bit of a rushed job.
Sorry, I haven't got much time to comment just now, will do my best to catch up soon.
Arctic conditions up on Rannoch Moor/ Glen Coe.
This was taken during the "golden hour" before sunset, which explains the warm hues.

I got a busy job, busy life...
makes me enjoy the times
when it's just me and my camera
enjoying the silence of this beauty
everything is constantly changing; between chaos and order,
built, demolition, rebuilt. but there are always moments in
process which exhibit some kind of own momentum, perfection
and calmness. moments of rest and a certain romantic presence
between the continuously inexorable changes.
Spikes of frost cling like tiny defenses to the iron cross, as if winter itself were drawing battle lines. In the silence of the blue hour, geometry and nature strike a delicate, icy balance—still, sharp, and waiting for thaw.
In front of the fire station on the Embarcadero. I used this as my commuter bike, riding from the train station at 4th and King to Pier 23 a few blocks shy of Fisherman's Wharf. I'd ride with my camera around my neck, jumping off the bike to get shots. The yellow Giant cruiser was stolen in front of the Metreon.
-Added to the Cream of the Crop pool as most interesting.
Lily Flower.
I took this image some long while ago but have only just processed it for the Smile on Saturday group's theme less is more. It seemed quite appropriate.
As you can probably work out it is a macro of the inside of a lily flower, from a plant currently flowering again in my back garden. I'll leave you to work out the flower colour lol!
I thought it looked like a happy group tasting :)
Hope you enjoy the image, and you find things to make you smile today. Thanks very much for taking time to look!
[Processed lightly in LR mainly to enhance the colour-surround effect and the stalks of the stamen at the bottom. Sharpened in Topaz Detail although only a very small part is in focus. White vignette. And that's about it. Too much of any sort of tinkering tended to make the image worse.]
