Another shot from my spiderweb session. This one was just begging to be converted to black and white.

Day 110/365:

April 2022: A month in 30 pictures

I went to pick a few of these wild violets from my garden and there seemed to be a little snail graveyard by them. It seemed a good idea to use a natural vase for these little beauties. Getting them to stay put was another matter entirely. The top one was obviously camera shy! I did a version without the extra shell but my husband preferred this one, since I couldn't decide I went with his choice.

For Smile on Saturday. I hope this fits the theme. I love these wild carrot flowers. The light seems to rest on them so beautifully. This one is just about to burst into bloom.

This is an edited version of a pic I took some time ago, on a visit to Cape Cod. Taken in Wellfleet when we stopped for a meal on our way back from Provincetown. Just before sunset, the light was gorgeous. It's one of my favourite photos from the trip.

I cropped it and cloned out a couple of distractions. Original in comments.

#11 - 100 x challenge - Lensbaby

I bought this heart shaped pebble a while back with a particular photo in mind but didn't get around to it before the pandemic hit. Now it will have to wait but thought it would be perfect for this theme.

Lensbaby Sweet 35 with macro converter.

For those that don't know, the title is from As Time Goes By. Here is a link to the version by the amazing Billie Holiday.

19/100: 100 x challenge - Flowers

19/100: 100 Flowers 2020

I've had this idea since my forget-me-nots came into flower but ironically kept forgetting to do it when thinking about my daily photo.

The eggshell is from when we had wood pigeons nesting in our wisteria either last year or the year before...they nest in our garden every year. It's so delicate, I worry it will break when I store it in my props stash. It has actually broken a bit at the bottom which helped to keep it standing for this shot. Not sure how many more photos I will get from it before it totally disintegrates.

For Macro Mondays- Vibrant Minimalism

I love these simple photos but with a great visual impact, I hope you like them too!

Thanks for your always kind comments!

Watch out for our observers

HSS! see dull, drab original photo far down in the comments section. i mainly used color change and gimp seamless filter to achieve this abstraction.

Macro Monday - High key

I haven't managed to do much photography lately but I had to this one. It is a star tied to a tiny bottle full of translucent stars on a bed of white tulle. Converted to mono as the stars had a slight yellow tinge which I didn't like. HMM

Thank you all for your kind wishes and love for Bruno. I really appreciate it. He is over his illness now. He is however still a very doddery elderly gentleman. We are taking each precious day at a time.

Episode I

Hi, Folks,

It’s me - LIM - the model for today’s theme. Climbing up this scaffold for a photo was o.k,, but hanging there for hours was dreadful. All because she couldn’t decide which photo to choose. Finally I reminded her that ‘Less is More’ – I was really fed up with that modeling job, which is understandable, isn’t it? Just want to mention that I was given half a bucket of honey as a compensation for all my efforts - isn’t it naughty that my honey was labeled ‘Less is More’ (!?!) although I really did my very best and

- hopefully I’ve made you smile – at least, a little bit

for now just forget about ‘Less is More’ please smile as much as you can

Bear Hugs,

LIMđŸ»

(former model-in-chief)

Woken up by a cold breeze, I found myself in a temple like structure...to my surprise, it was located high up in the sky...no way to escape and no way to tell where I was...all I was able to see were clouds ranging in every direction as far as my eyes could see..
