This is a less pathetic tomato, which came from the plant in my bathroom. I moved it inside about a month and a half ago, before the first frost. This tomato was already on it, and has only gotten a little bigger. When it blushed a little last week, I picked it and put it in the window. As you can see, it is tiny.
I noticed a moai on somebody's lawn on the Wisconsin backroads we took back home on a holiday weekend. The problem here is that the holiday was Memorial Day, not Easter.
This part of Corte Madera Creek had much less water - just a few deep puddles. There were many deer tracks in the mud.

When we visited the Musee D'Orsay in September, 2016, we had less than 90 minutes to actually view the collection, so I concentrated on the Impressionist works on the top floor:

When we returned to Paris in May, 2017, I made sure to cover the floors and areas of the Museum that I had missed on my first trip.
Since the D'Orsay owns many more top flight paintings and sculptures than it has room to show at any one time, and lends many works to other institutions, there were many works of art on display in May that had not been there the previous September, so there is little overlap between the two albums.
I also have a separate album about the special exhibition - "Beyond the Stars -The Mystical Landscape from Monet to Kandinsky (Au-dela des Etoiles - Le Paysage Mystique de Monet a Kandinsky)":

This is the view looking left down the road out of our driveway. A bit of a reprieve this evening. We we can still see, smell and taste the smoke but it's not as thick as earlier in the day. If the smoke forecast is right Tuesday is going to be really bad.

i find myself less excited about "holiday" seasons now, they're too shallow and commercial. i know that's what everyone says but it's basically true.
i battled my way into the new year in front of a television screen, and when midnight came around i felt no different.
don't take me for a pessimist i like the idea of a whole fresh new year, but people just use holidays as an excuse to get drunk and party and not remember a thing the next day.
happy new years if you're into it
Probably less than a minute to touchdown at this point and it looks like we flew past a supposed closed temple complex, Wat Lat Krabang. I can't find any decent information online in English, unfortunately.
The idea behind this photo is never think less about yourself just because you're different from others. Everyone has their own uniqueness, that they do not have to compare with other people around them. Don't let anyone tell you who you are, but tell them who you are.
