Completely out of my comfort zone. I never ever shoot in this style and I think this may even be the only portrait style image I've ever taken that I liked!
I'll admit that today was another lazy day with an especially lazy shot. I got caught up in a very enjoyable 'romantic comedy' called Timer. Once it was over I left my house completely ready to meet the love of my life. No dice. But I'm not concerned in the slightest.
Five things I love:
1) Vegetarian lasagna. 2) Babies that make ridiculous noises. 3) Driving with the windows down. 4) Arcade Fire. 5) Pinball!
I'm so proud of these! =D Shoes are from Payless, spikes are from Hot Topic; I just cut little holes in the shoes and screwed the spikes in =]

MY PROM DRESSSSSSSSS!!
it was delivered today and i was about to go home early just to see my dress faster. i ended up staying out til nighttime anyway though. went to starbucks with kenneth for the half price frappucinos, yummy! we walked around for a bit so i can buy a pack of seaweed salad. hahah. we explored the supermarket for no reason, then we went back to cp. at cp, i saw tammy and we caught up w each other and had like a 1 hour talk :). after cp, kenneth, brian, keviny, amy, and i walked to st marks for dollar pizza and 16 handles. =)
then i finally went home and tried on my dress. but there's a broken thread :( and im exchange it for a new dress.
although i was only hired to shoot the inside party for the launch of roberto cavalli's new store on rodeo ... i made some photos on the red carpet.
this was the first time christina was showing off her new engagement ring to some little dude. i mean little. like ... i thought he could have been that guy on the mtv show with johnny knoxville.
i really liked the background roberto used.

Head over heels in love with this Vanda Orchid with its striking cheetah print markings, absolute perfection! A joy to photograph, it looked stunningly beautiful at every angle. This is one of my favourite pics because I like how the orchid blooms appear to flutter away, like a cluster of butterflies.

overall im really pleased with how it works. it even almost gets a full circle of light in the eyes.
