the front of the t shirt is cut from a leopard and floral print dress, the sleeves came from thrifted fabric, the back is from a tie die dress, and the neck is actually a piece of a pant leg.

This was the third and final outfit for this shoot with Lacy. As I said before, she looks great in everything. This was also a memorable shoot for her - she was getting her braces off shortly after this shoot, so in the future expect to see more of her gorgeous smile. Life is good!

her leopard print fake-fur cushion is under her head and she is wearing a Tshirt with a large tiger on it.
it was my mum's funeral a few weeks back, april 2005. in her will she had stated a wish to have her body donated to science. but unfortunately she never signed it and, despite mum having discussed it with all of us, my sister and my step-father decided instead to have a funeral.
In 1999, the Australian Costumers Guild held its Victorian Picnic at the Melbourne Zoological Gardens. My inspiration was Victorian Colonial Africa, using the early 1880's silouhette as the basis, but mixing up the textures and fabrics. The fake fur corset gets lots of attention but is not a warm weather item!
The photo was taken on my camera by someone who was there on the day! The scan from the negative required some photoshopping to get a usable print. Only the corset and yellow overskirt remain from this costume.

So... I found this leopard print wallpaper when we were in B&Q and picked up a sample piece, and to be honest, this was always going to happen. :)
