If you want something unconventional for senior portraits, you now know who to call!
I painted jaguar rosettes on her shoulder and face prior to taking this. The leopard fur around her chest is indeed real; it came from an old coat and would have been thrown away otherwise. I thought that I might as well do something good with it.
Anyhow, this was probably the most awesome photoshoot I've done yet. Roshun had all sorts of ideas for the portraits, so we drove all over town to several different locations to get them. She should be a model!
I now prove to you (the world) that I can indeed take pictures of people. Not just animals. :D

This is a leopard print box I made a while ago. I hand painted everything myself except for the flowers and plastic charms in the middle. The decorative buttons were all hand painted by me: they're regular bottle caps painted with acrylics and then I added Halloween glitter on them, which were hand painted by me as well. The original color of the glitter was somwhere between shiny purple, orange and white.

So just about everyone knows now, I am pregnant as fuck. And at first, I'll admit, I hated it. I was sick everyday, I was a bitch to everyone because of my hormones, and gaining weight was never appealing to me. But now, I'm feeling a lot better, my bitchiness hasn't really gone down, and neither has my weight... but what can I do about that now, right? I love my kid without knowing him/her. That's all that matters. We heard the heartbeat last Tuesday and that's when shit got real. We're really excited about having a little friend to hang out with all the time. It sucks having to give up my old habits of weed smoking and drinking, but I can go back to that one day, I'm sure. Maybe not so much weed smoking, but I'll be able to party up again soon. I'll have an ultrasound in another few weeks or so, and hopefully we'll get to find out what our little sea monkey's gender is! I'll keep you posted, and hopefully I'll get a picture to put up!

Rarely do we find gorgeous colorful winter blouses like this striking blue Marc Jacobs blouse. I love turquoise and maybe because I believe it goes well with my hair color.
I always enjoy styling turquoise with leopard prints...turquoise is always a match with brown shades...try it out!
I wore it with a very special skirt which was my grandma's design...it has patches of black flowers sewn on it...yes...it's one hell of a vintage piece which was part of the things she had designed in Italy in the late 1960s! Best part of it all...it's not even a skirt, it's a short ;)

Llinos got in touch with me on Facebook with the logo (top left) and commissioned a custom stamp.
After I carved it, I used three different ink pads to color it to achieve a similar palette:
Brilliance "Graphite Black", VersaMagic "Eggplant" and Memento "Rose Bud". I inked the whole stamp with Rose Bud first, then colored bits of the stamp with tips of the other two ink pads.
This is the bathrobe at the Hotel Tria in Boston. wow. I laughed so hard when opening the closet. I couldn't resist.

Yes, yes, it's another picture of my family. I was working on a Belegarth poster and on getting the kids ready for the first day of school tomorrow. (Ivy's in 2nd grade, and Rose is now in kindergarten)
I call this one:
"Your middle-school music teacher who got sauced on a Friday night and took all the percussion instruments from the band-room in order to jam with Stevie Wonder and piss off everyone within 50 yards".
She was escorted from the venue shortly after she pulled out her maracas and started shaking her gold lamé clad heiney at everyone that was complaining.
The concert was great.
It's Half Term and many mums will be at home with the children, so today's outfit inspiration is especially for them.
As a mum, you want to be casual and comfortable when you're out and about with the children, whether it's going to the park, running errands or going on special trips to museums, theme parks or just popping round to friends for a coffee and a play-date.
I've chosen a palette of this season's favourite colours (camel, coral, apricot, peach and orange) and put together a look that is both practical and stylish. The colours would suit a lady with either 'Warm' or 'Deep & Warm' colouring.
