This Leopard was spotted at Wilpattu National Park, just before it began crossing the safari track.

Meshack spotted this leopard and he took this great picture. We had lunch right under the tree. Just us and the leopard... forgot what I ate but it was the best lunch I've ever had.

Male Leopard photographed by SM on June 21, 2006 at Sabi Sands, South Africa.

Waited and waited at the Russia's Grizzly Coast compound at the Minnesota Zoo for this Amur Leopard [Panthera pardus orientalis] to do something more that just pose on the log.

Suddenly I had this shot and I heard the woman next to me tell her companion, "I got it with it's mouth open!" I hoped I did too and realized I had a good shot when I reviewed the photo.

This leopard's companion was named "Paulina" (aka Nina, according to a zoo docent), but I didn't get the name of this leopard . . . a rather beautiful creature much like it's kin, the snow leopard.

As you can see, I hazed out the background and foreground log a bit to keep the focus on the leopard's face.

It's such an amazing scene watching two rare snow leopards grooming each other.
