Just a simple candid street style Snapograph captured at London UK of a guy waiting in his Eco Taxi.

Just al nord de Leicester Square, aquest edifici té un aire marcadament germanic. Podria ser qualsevol ciutat alemana, o suissa. I encanvi, ara forma part del Chinatown londinenc.
=====================
This London building looks definitely germanic in style. Could be in any city between the Rhine and the Oder. But it's just north of Leicerster Square... and it's now part of Chinatown. A sort of mini Londoner Tsingtao (the former German colony in China).

Leicester Square, the vibrant heart of London’s theater land, photographed on a rainy night.
This shot is part of a collection entitled “Cities painted in light and water”, entirely dedicated to the dazzling atmosphere of rainy nights in dynamic urban environments and the mesmerizing effect created by city lights reflected on rivers, seas and fountains' water.
I thank you all for your much appreciated support and I wish you a splendid weekend :-)

The Picturehouse Central on Great Windmill Street. A rainy summers evening in Central London capturing both the people and the architecture. The rainfall as always was providing some great reflections and atmosphere.
When the sun shines in London the many beautiful public squares tend to fill with people. One of the things I realized during my many visits to England, is that being from the Western U.S. I take the sun for granted. In my hometown located in Northern California we average around 3607 sunny hours/year. Compare that with London where the average is 1481 sunny hours/year. And now your minds are forever filled with this banal bit of trivia.
It's sunny today in California and I'm off to find a public park.

Another shot of this iconic London view of the London Eye, Westminster, the Thames, and the city beyond, this time in black and white (with a different lens).
Taken from the air with a Nikon D40 and a Nikkor AFS DX 18-200mm F/3.5-5.6G lens, and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
