💡The MOC is now on Lego Ideas and I really would appreciate your support!

This is a remake of the Set 6059.

I have a special connection to the Set, because the parallel group in kindergarden had it and sometimes I could play with it - really dig those hinges!

The twist: I wanted to design it as it would be an official #LEGO set. So I used large pieces for example and tried to keep it as simply as possible (okay that didn’t work out in every way😅, but hey, I tried!). Also I tried to incorporate as many play features as possible. So here you go.. Would you buy this set today? 😉

My Grandpa used to run a store similar to this on our street.

What a First Order TIE Bomber would look like if it didn't just 100% copy the Imperial model.

This Arkham Asylum isn’t based on any specific version but is my own interpretation, you can certainly see references to the Arkham Asylum video game and its numerous appearances in the comics. However the structure and layout is completely my design.

The MOC took around 4 months to build, I built it without any base plates, which added to its complexity but it did, I think, result in a much better final creation.

Floating just over the Blackwood forest, this monastery is fought over by those who seek to control the forest, and its dwellers.

The two elevators on the end are hooked up to lego power functions, and can move up and down via a remote control.

A fan made Imperial capital ship design, based off YouTuber EC Henry recreation of the original Colin Cantwell Imperial Cruiser concept for Star Wars (1977), designed in 1975.

A complete rebuild of an old MOC from last summer, which I was not happy with considering it was my first time building anything with the Star Destroyer shape.

My recreation of a high-end stereo tube amplifier. AKA a valve amp. Featuring shiny tubes large and small, dual heat-sinks, meters, a massive transformer,(Transformer!!??), sleek styling and minimal wiring. A more transparent sound cannot be found in LEGO!

This one also began life in Studio and was brick-built.

When designing them, one of the iterative directives we designated was to learn and improve rapid deployment. It wasn't long until we experienced first hand just how rapid they became.

It is a lawless time.

Following the defeat of the Empire at the Battle of Jakku, former Imperial governor Moff Pyerce struggles to keep hold of his territories. Wishing to bring back the glory days, he rules several star systems with an iron fist. Pyerce's faction invades the distant mining planet of BONADAN on a mission to exploit the planet's precious minerals and puts a blockade around the planet.

The Mandalorian Clan Eldar, breaks through the blockade and split up to secure strategic locations on the surface. In this group, hired assassin JANI PRYCE, descendant of Mandalore of old, fights for those who have been oppressed by the Empire, and the Republic before it. However, on this mission she has other plans...

Word reached her through holo-transmission from the galactic underworld that notorious war criminal AMBUN REFKRA has been hired by Pyerce to lead a legion of his troops. Jani arrives to settle an old score, and collect the bounty on Refrka's head...

A less than dynamic duo with ambitions to raise hell in Reef City - instead, the only thing being raised is the Frustracean's blood pressure by his henchman's constant blunders.

#TimeForCrab is here! This year we invite all builders across the community and the globe to participate in a month-long open crab collab, spanning June 22 to July 22. The task is simple:

1. Build a crab

2. Post your crab with the tag #timeforcrab

3. Repeat!

All crustaceans are welcome, and your build can be anything recognizably crustacean-inspired. Be it an actual crab, a fantasy crab, a mech, a spaceship, a castle or anything else - just make it vaguely resemble crab! The primary venues of Time for Crab are Flickr and Instagram, but feel free to share your crabs far and wide. Spread the word, and invite your friends to join!

The ambition is to make this an annually recurring month-long open collab, always taking place in this same timeframe. Let's get the ball rolling.

It's Time for Crab!

Once a living and vibrant city, this colossal and titanic tower city is now completely abandoned. Stories older than the world itself say that something dark and sinister lurks beneath the tower's thousand columns.

Sometimes, someone's true substance is hidden behind an illusory form.

This was built for RebelLug's monthly prompt. The goal of this prompt was to build a reflection. I really like the mirror effect in this scene. I built both sides of it. I wanted to reflect Batman's younger self because that is when all of his trauma started and how he still sees himself in some ways.

High in Aeltharion, where silver mountains graze the heavens and emerald forests breathe with eternal life, stands Lórendil, the Elven Citadel of Knowledge. Its ivory spires gleam like a frozen moon, while its rooftops of sapphire and jade glimmer as though painted by the skies themselves.

Lórendil is no fortress of war, but a sanctuary of wisdom. Within its vast halls, alchemists shape crystal into wonders, healers weave flesh and spirit through song, and herbalists tend to plants whose powers the world has long forgotten.

On this day, the citadel welcomes rare visitors. From the eastern realms arrive human envoys, their footsteps echoing beneath the ancient colonnades. From the south come the Ifraenor elves of Naquaril—children of the desert, their eyes aglow with the fire of the burning sands.

The elves of Lórendil regard their guests with a wary curiosity. To the Firstborn, humans are but fleeting creatures, their lives no longer than a passing season against the measure of elven centuries. And yet, their restless ambition makes them both dangerous—and fascinating. The southern elves, though kin, are strangers still: children of fire and mirage, a world apart from Lórendil’s keepers of lore.

But this gathering is no mere courtesy. Word has spread of a blight sweeping the southern lands, blackening fields and sapping the strength of both man and beast. The humans seek deliverance, yet whispers move through Lórendil’s halls:

this is no mortal plague, but a shadow from beyond the known world—a darkness even the elves may one day learn to fear.

My first build of the year 2022 features the Squad Inferno. The build is inspired by the occupation of Batuu built by the Brickzlab community.

“Griff Halloran has made a lot of special modifications himself to turn his own Imperial-issue TIE fighter into a unique and fearsome machine. Although his extensive refittings are regarded by some as a little too drastic, it's inarguable that he's created an aggressively powerful and aerodynamic machine.”

~ Star Wars databank

It’s like a TIE Fighter and a Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor had an ugly baby. And the most recognizable starfighter from this show as instantly #starwars. I love it.

It was actually LEGO's own model (and the lack of Fireball) which inspired me to build the Aces.

I’m not really happy with some design decisions on LEGO’s model so I went for a more accurate representation of the starfighter.

I focused a lot on getting the Imperial helmet pattern to be accurate with sideways slope bricks. Once again I applied some custom stickers in a few spots. The cockpit area was tough because of the mishmash of all sorts of angles.
