This is my LEGO version of the McLaren P1. It has around a thousand pieces and it took me 2 weeks to design. The doors and spoiler are functional as the real version. Enjoy!
After four years of sharing building space with the weight set, art supplies, and framing station, I finally moved to a new room in the house that's ALL Lego! Wahoo! plenty of room to stretch out, with additional storage space for all those future ABS acquisitions!
Collection is presentable enough, but there's a ton of unsorted mess in some of these drawers and in storage tubs not in the shot.
Let the youngest one in for the first time to see what she would do; she's been taking one part at a time from one drawer and putting them in other drawers..
Didn’t really have a game plan when I started making these. The black one is loosely based on an old Buick, and the green is a hodge podge of reference images. But! Regardless of quirks, they can fill out parking spots well!
Tackling my first big original MOC in fine scale since the Atlantic.
Using a mixture of new techniques from Block Junction MOCs and album stalking, I’m trying hard to get my proportions down without too much compensation for r56 curves. So far it’s promising!
While I'm waiting for a BrickLink order to complete my next MOC for the BioCup, I thought I would work on a long overdue project: remaking my MOC Eaquaydo. This MOC, for whatever reason, is the closest thing I have to a fan favorite, at least on YouTube. But I've never personally been all that proud of him. I think it's finally time for that to change though. Here's what I have so far.
This year I built new models I'm particularly proud of.
In May the Classic Vespa Workshop (which followed my Volkswagen Garage - 2014) was released.
I built also my latest Volkswagen Bulli, the sandblasted T2.
I added Hot Rods and T-buckets to my collection as well.
Many blogs and magazines featured my models and my VW Garage has been featured in The Art of LEGO Scale Modeling book. That is great.
I met new friends and AFOLs during the ITLug LEGO shows where I showcased new and old MOCs.
Currently I'm working on new projects for the 2016.
Dear friends, I wish you a full of bricks new year!
All the best!

A mush-mash of design elements I found on rebrickable that I liked. No real life basis, but wanted something to stand out amongst my other vehicles
One of my reasons for building British Locos has always been liveries. Just so many fantastic options for color and display.
I’ve tackled building in multiple liveries in the past, but now with a few years of building experience under belt, I really want to try some old builds again (like the pannier, the N7) and see how big this Trainbow can get :) I’ve got ideas for dark brown, lime, purple, and light blue. But any other ideas y’all can think of please let me know! (I need an idea for yellow or tan!)
