A wonderful day full of activities that stimulated the major areas of learning necessary for child development.

Kids played a balance game during outdoor in which they move on some feet, taking corresponding balls to where it belongs to.

Little legends focused on building towers (a high and low tower) with Legos.

In activating their cognitive skills, they sorted out number “4” found among many numbers and colored it red.

Wonderful learning adventure about sailors on sea, and they explored the concept of big and small.

The tortoise race was thrilling our entire body was exercised. Circle Time was great as well.

During their literacy Hour, kids decorated letter ‘P’ with popcorn.

Another exciting day today…

Just the other day we showed you our first commission wall in 18 months, well, when we were done they then requested we do a second wall in order to, sort of, explain the first. It consisted of a legend so that people could see the actual drug logos and names for the abstracted logos we used on the original wall. Now I haven't done any precise stencil work for a while, instead preferring the ‘get it in the edit’ philosophy of painting, but for this we only had one shot and it needed to be as neat as possible. I have to admit we did pretty well if I don't say so myself. After completing this one they then asked about a possible third wall. Watch this space...

Cheers

Legend Brewing Company – Richmond, Virginia USA

Brown Ale (ABV 6%)

[Best served in a Dimpled Mug]

Rating: 2.9/5.0

Aroma: 6/10

Appearance: 3/5

Taste: 6/10

Palate: 3/5

Overall: 11/20

The pour was a clear medium brown with a large (2-3 finger) foamy head that was mostly diminishing and had fair lacing.

The aroma was light of roasted cereal malts and a lightly sweet leathery yeast with hints of milk chocolate, coffee and a touch of molasses.

The taste was mildly sweet with just a hint of chocolate and a pinch of molasses from the onset and finished with a slightly bitter chocolate-coffee flavor that lasted an average amount of time after the swallow.

Mouthfeel was somewhere between light and medium in body and a bit watery in texture with a mild carbonation.

Overall a mild tasting and well balanced Brown Ale that possessed an excellent drinkability.

100% BETTER ON BLACK!!! After a long headache and 2 hours on a twisty road we finally arrived at a beautiful meadow in Mt Laguna. As the sunlight fell we were graced with a beautifully vivid night sky. My friends Dan Douglas, Brian Hawkins and Daniel Tomlinson had a blast sharing stories and setting up multiple axis Timelapse shots. As the 4 hour Timelapses were running I decided to capture this 180 degree panorama. Since I know you guys love the technical details here they are, this Panorama is 15 vertical images taken with the Canon 6D and Nikon 14-24 F/2.8 EXIF: 20Sec F/2.8 ISO6400 If you wanna learn how to take and or process images like this one, check out my new online and in person workshops. ift.tt/1sKjRAh Dave Morrow and I also provide a video tutorial with RAW files so that you can follow along. ift.tt/19O2rOv via 500px ift.tt/1sKjPbz

Flying Legends Air Show Flying started about 2pm. Prior to this you could walk the Flight line and enjoy this great aviation museum. The flying started with RAF & LUFTWAFFE FIGHTERS Spitfire x 8, Hurricane & Bouchon 109 Followed by NAVAL Skyraider x 3, Seafire, Sea Fury, Fury, Bearcat & Corsair. At 2.40pm up went the GERMAN Ju-52, Me-108, Jungmeister x 2 & Jungmann. Then it was the turn of the USAAF Ryan x 2, TF51 x 2, P51D x 4, P40, B17 & L4 x 2. My favourite was Ferocious Frankie and of course Memphis Belle/Sally B. At 3.15pm we had the RUSSIAN Yak 3 x 2, Yak 9 & I-16 these were followed by the more sedate Magister, Arrow Active, Hind, Gladiator, Lysander, Nimrod & Demon. Then came the BBMF Lancaster, Spitfire & Hurricane. At 4.15pm we enjoyed BREITLING WINGWALKERS in some very colourful Stearman x 2 who were followed by the Norwegian DC-3 and finally FRENCH Moraine 406. All were totally awesome.
