I was trying a version of the washer/ribbon necklace with this heavy string I really like, and the string was just too darn heavy to weave the way it should. So I cut the project short -- literally -- and changed the weave pattern for this simple washer/string bracelet. It looks better on my arm, but I can't take a pic lefthanded LOL 7/12/2012
A cheeky poke at #7 - boring.
Yeah, yeah; I know - proper pics to come ...

Sinistral: Belonging to the left hand
What a way to celebrate
International Left Handers Day.
I discovered the above definitions in an ancient dictionary and found that Sinistral is related to and probably comes from the word Sinister!
However, I plan to smile and move on knowing that I have been Left Handed and Loving It all my life.
(My Momma once told me that there was nothing she could do to make me become Right Handed no matter how hard she tried!)
So come and celebrate today, August 13th, with me and the other 10% of the world's population.
International Lefthanders Day
First observed by some of us in 1976.

Thursday. I love to obsessively color in my shifts whenever I get a new week's schedule. I use a different color each week. It's fun :)
Also I'm left-handed.
My coworkers make fun of me being left handed. So much so they got me a mug a few weeks ago.
4/7 most recent US Presidents were left handed. Just FYI :-)
Timo for President! He's lefthanded and born on August 4, just like Obama.
Esther and I made tons of scrappy buttons for the campaign (Ken made a few too).
Then we were off on a wild-timo ride from North to South Portland with a few twists and turns (Lloyd Mall tunnel anyone?). This was one the best night time rides I've ever been on since I rode so many places I never have been. We finished at the Nightlight on Clinton (another left-hander) with some home-baked cake by Esther.
