"Macro Mondays" and "Glass"

With this topic, you first realize how many objects in a household are made of glass. We have different forms of these bulbs, they are screwed into a white cube in which the cable is built in. By touching the upper surface the bulb shines, a very practical light source in the evening and at night.

I wish you a successful start into the new week, dear friends.Remain attentive with "AHA".

Then we will get through time well!

This is an amazing photographers friend, the mini LED at 1-1/8 inch long total and 3/8 inch wide, the bulb is 5/16 inch long, has three pancake batteries in it and a twist on and off. This puts the light where you need it.

Green Yellow Squares

I have a shop light that has LED bulbs in a tube. Each bulb is separated from its neighbor by about twelve millimeters.. This one only works half way. This is the spot where the light stops. Happy Macro Mondays everyone! Thanks to anyone that cares to stop to look, fave or leave a comment.

A replica of one of the three ships that Christopher Columbus led to the Americas in 1492, the Nao Santa Maria is one of nearly a dozen vessels that are part of the 2019 Tall Ship Celebration this weekend in Bay City, Michigan. It is shown here approaching Bay City on the Saginaw River last Thursday, and was processed in a vintage style for Sliders Sunday. Unfortunately, it wasn't under sail when photographed, and yes, I realize that the occupants aren't exactly wearing period clothing either. Oh well. :-)

Looking Up

LED lights hanging on a festive tree with bokeh.

This is my little LED pocket spotlight. It measures about 2 inches across and up and down about 1 and half inches (including the mount shown at the top in the photo).

I use this little fill light all of the time, it casts great shadows and gives a nice clean light source. It was fun to shoot this little handy tool, only I had to find ANOTHER light source to help light the bezel around the light panel. :)

"When the words weigh heavy on the heart

I am lost and led only by the stars

Cage me like an animal

A crown with gems and gold

Eat me like a cannibal

Chase the neon throne

Breathe in, breathe out

Let the human in

Breathe in, breathe out

And let it in

Plants awoke and they slowly grow

Beneath the skin"

I love the old fashion look with the new technology...!

My new PC has built in disco lights. Not worked out how to disable this feature yet!

I am very proud to announce that I am now officially sponsored by Led Lenser, this is a very proud moment in my life and I only have good things to say and many thanks to the people at Led Lenser, within the sponsorship deal they send me torches to help with my work and help promote their products.

This is an honour for me, to be sponsored by the worlds best torch company. So Thanks Led Lenser, I shall be doing product reviews on all of Led Lensers products on my Youtube channel, to help light painters making the right desicion before buying a torch.

Thanks to my wife for helping me with the lighting and light writing.

My Yema LED watch - a modern reincarnation of an original design from the 1970’s. My very first watch when I was a kid was a red LED black plastic thing … and I thought it was the most amazing technological masterpiece! Of course it stopped working in less than a year and being a future engineer I pulled it apart and eventually it got discarded.

The Blackhouse at Arnol is opposite The White House. Each is full of memories and stories of the life led in and around them. The two together and their surroundings as strongly evocative of living on the Isle of Lewis.

I always end up making something out of the needing work pictures. The challenge catches my eye, heart and brain, possibly in that order. The way forward from the challenging exposure should involve a better memory than I have.

As Alfred Stieglitz said "Wherever there is light, one can photograph" and so now that its getting dark so early, we are glad for the $3 LED lantern.

As darkness begins to fall over Duluth and its iconic Aerial Lift Bridge, a Proctor Yard bound limestone train climbs the grade led by DMIR 400 and two other standard cabs.

The RAI Amsterdam multifunctional parking building: a thirty-meter high building with eight parking levels that can accommodate around a thousand cars. It is located on the Amsterdam Zuidas and the A10 ring road and is an integrated part of RAI Amsterdam. A special feature of the building is that the first floor can also be used as a flexible conference room. At times when the RAI has no additional parking requirement, the garage will act as a public parking facility. Benthem Crouwel Architects has been the supervisor of the entire RAI since 1989. After the Amtrium and the Elicium, the parking building is the third building that they have designed at the RAI complex.

The building is characterised by a sleek, rectangular shape with two striking spirals on the south side, the so-called "wokkels". One spiral to enter the parking garage and another spiral to leave it. Because of this separate supply and removal of traffic, parking can be handled quickly and efficiently, an important wish of the RAI. The spirals are constructed from prefab concrete elements that, stacking together form the entrance and exit to the parking floors. They are iconic for the building, clearly visible from the A10 ring road, and in the evening blue LED lines emphasise their elegant shape.

The parking building is a "stand alone" parking garage, and a multifunctional building. Because the first floor is twice as high (7.2 meters) as the parking floors above, a spacious hall is created that can be used as an extension hall and conference room. The 2,800 m2 hall has as few columns as possible, so that the space can be arranged in all kinds of ways. The column structure is on a 7.5 meter grid. The building consists of three naves with a span of fifteen meters. The extension hall can be used independently for events, but can also be connected by sliding doors to the surrounding halls of the RAI complex. The top parking floor, the roof of the building, can also be used for various activities of the RAI.
