Yellowstone's famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view) bull elk #10, on the last lap of winter. Spring green-up couldn't come soon enough.
A few weeks back, as I was going to bed, I spotted a Badumna on the top of the door of my wardrobe. When I leaned in closer to look at it, it did that "oh god, abandon ship!" thing terrified spiders do and fell to the floor. I could not for the life of me locate it on the carpet so I went to bed hoping I didn't step on it. A few days later, my partner spotted the same Badumna (at least we're pretty sure it is) had set up shop around the light bulb on my bedroom ceiling. Being phobic of cockroaches and hateful of mosquitoes, I was quite delighted. Hurrah for my new roommate!
