Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate it.

An evening walk in the Australian bush, the smell of eucalyptus in the air.

Taken while walking through a riverside park. This tree was at the far end of the park, and just bathed in sunshine.

Hello everyone,

This week's challenge for Macro Mondays was "Leaf." This is a 2" section of a yellow leaf that caught my eye. Happy Macro Mondays! HMM!

Thank you so much for taking the time to look and for leaving me a comment, I do love hearing from you!

Wikipedia: The dusky leaf monkey, spectacled langur, or spectacled leaf monkey (Trachypithecus obscurus) is a species of primate in the family Cercopithecidae. It is found in Peninsular Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand; however, dusky leaf monkeys have occasionally been observed in Singapore. It is not clear whether these monkeys are escaped pets or whether they swam to Singapore on their own volition from Johor, Malaysia.

Wikipedia: The dusky leaf monkey (Trachypithecus obscurus), also known as the spectacled langur, or the spectacled leaf monkey is a species of primate in the family Cercopithecidae. It is found in Peninsular Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand, and can occasionally be found in Singapore. During the day, these small, folivorous primates divide in sub-groups and forage for vegetation and fruit throughout the tropical forests. According to the IUCN, the dusky leaf monkey's population is declining due to habitat loss, poaching, and anthropogenic land use, which prompted the IUCN to classify the species as endangered in 2015.

It's a morning glory leaf in my garden.

I chose a small one about 2 cm and took it.

Promise....I've posted my last leaf. Moving onto winter now...just waiting for the snow to arrive! :-)

This small leaf was chosen, for this week’s theme, because I like the textures and colours
