U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton's Workforce Development Leadership Cohort gathered Sept. 5 for a final group breakfast to commemorate their upcoming program completion. The yearlong program paired mentors with junior civilian employees from diverse backgrounds to develop leadership skills.
Participants honed communication, team-building and critical-thinking abilities essential for roles across the garrison. The cohort will graduate within the next few weeks, marking the end of their joint training sessions. The Cohort program initiative aims are to strengthen the Army's civilian workforce, enhance operational effectiveness across the installation, and to foster a new generation of civilian leaders. (U.
