The Flame-faced Tanager is one of the most spectacular members of the diverse and exceptionally colorful genus Tangara. Living up to its common name, the forehead begins as a deep glimmering red, shading into a brilliant yellow on the nape and sides of the head. This "flame" contrasts sharply with the jet black back. The Flame-faced Tanager is a common member in mixed species foraging flocks in the canopy of humid montane forest from the Andes of extreme southwest Venezuela south to central Peru. It forages exclusively along mossy branches and occasionally peering at the underside in search of arthropods. There are three subspecies of the Flame-faced Tanager, described based mostly on minor differences in plumage. The species is typically found from 1000-2600 m and is most numerous above 1500 m. The IUCN Red list assesses the Flame-faced Tanager as a species of Least Concern; however, the population size is declining due to habitat destruction. Thus, the Flame-faced Tanager should become the focus of future studies.

Lawers Dam was constructed in 1951-6 as part of the Breadalbane Hydro-Electric Scheme. The dam is of massive buttress type, and measures 344m in length and 42m in height. It has been constructed across the S end of Lochan na Lairige, whose water level has been raised by 27m. The reservoir is fed by a system of tunnels and aqueducts from a 45sq km catchment area, and from it the water drops 415m to the Finlarig power station on Loch Tay.
Lawers Dam is next to Lochan na Lairige and is located in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, United Kingdom. Lawers Dam has a length of 0.69 kilometres.

Next Meal Garbh, Meal Nan Tarmachan, above them you can barely see Ben Oss and Ben Lui. On the right side you can see it closely Meall Corranich over him Meall Ghaordie. You can see far in the background Creag Mhor, Beinn Heasgarnich, Beinn Dorain. It barely rises above the clouds Beinn nan Oighreag, over him Beinn Mhanach, and on the far right Beinn Acaladair and Beinn A Chreachain.
We visited my in-law's last May and they had a tree with these gorgeous white blooms. I'm thinking it is a type of Dogwood?

A quiet and bitter stick season-esque Saturday morning in East Brookfield, MA is disturbed by CSX I022 on November 29, 2025. The crew has just knocked down CP 64 on the Boston Sub, (B&A) and hurtles towards the eastern terminus of Worcester.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️
