I so liked the icon word idea and so wanted to use LaunchBars LB, that I ended up downloading the T and U just to fill the gaps...

Quite a few letter based icons end up being cheap excuses for icons and are quite ugly, hence Albtraum? – German for nightmare.

This is my desktop running Mac OS X Version 10.4.3

Modified Desk to 6" Heigher off the floor creating nice cable management area and shelf on what was originally the bottom.

Purchased Griffin Elevator and Griffin FireWave.

+ EEE PC.

I think its all a good upgrade, still living it up on my MacBook Pro- its now over 1 year old.

new feature (I think) of Launchbar 5 - didn't realize it, so had problems with multiple items in my clipboard. Still love Launchbar, all is forgiven…

I recently downloaded the latest version of Object Dock and found myself unable to find an icon to use for this wonderful tool, aside from the default windows one which is far too small of an image. So, I took the matter into my own hands! About an hours worth of broken up work later and I have this beauty finished.

If you use ObjectDock, you can grab the PNG of this here.

in the golden age of blogs…

Also funny to look back at the apps that were in my Dock. I recognize most of the icons (some haven’t changed, some I still use, some no longer work in the current OS)

Is this right?

[in response to this news article about WolframAlpha and Bing:

My setup when at work with all the goodies (contact list, LaunchBar and the Dock) visible, normally they slide out of view.

Desktop is an apartment building in Ann Arbor.

I've now pushed everything I don't absolutely always want to see off my screen. LaunchBar lives on the bottom in the right, my dock hides on the right in the bottom, Adium lives hidden along the right (new feature coming in 1.0) under the clock (Konfabulator) and most recently I've got my menu hiding by way of Menufela. And of course, I returned to a perennial favorite desktop.

to keep my environment simple, i have eliminated the need for a mouse wherever possible, using launchbar for application launching and ms office macros for repetitive gui actions.

i think it's miami pride month or something...but tomorrow morning is south beach pride. and i'm super-excited.

It's probably been done before but I'm responding to Zach's new Mac dock meme. My dock's always hidden since I use LaunchBar or Spotlight.

ohhai! those are my feetsies! on my desktop!

Just bang in your reminder, hit return and your reminder will be set.

Requires Jubbly PRO and an API Key.

Enter a valid time and/or date and your reminder will be set. A Growl alert will pop up with the traditional response Jubbly gives on all platforms - e.g. he'll make a trumpet noise or say lovely jubbly.

just made the wall paper from this

the old blog + destroytwitter running.

In the store, I converted a sales rep to use Quicksilver instead of Launchbar. All bow before QS.

LaunchBar, a handy utility that gives you instant access to your documents, apps, and more, has hit version 6.3 with improved tag support and the ability to drag multiple items to applications.

LaunchBar’s improved support for tags in OS X Yosemite adds a number of new capabilities and...

Since my early Mac-using days, I’ve been an avid shortcuts user — keyboard commands, QuickKeys, launchbars, you name it. I probably use my keyboard more than my trackpad for navigating through programs and windows, though I’ve grown to love the multitouch gestures for swiping sc...
