I have recently started doing night time photos just to see what I come up with. I turned the ISO up as high as it will go (16000) which usually give me a shutter speed that is high enough to let me hand-hold the camera but at the price of a lot of "noise". Future plans are to experiment with the ISO to improve the quality of the image. This photo was taken on the north side of Houston Texas, at around 6am. I took the photo by stopping on the side of the street and pointing the camera out of the driver side window. Camera is a Canon EOS 80D with a EF-S 18-135 mm USM lens. Photo was changed to b+w in post-processing. Enjoy!

Een melding dat RFO onderweg was met zes Laude containerwagens bracht me naar Udenhout. De set was namelijk onderweg vanuit Amersfoort naar Oss maar moest om daar te komen op Tilburg Goederen kopmaken. Tien minuten sneller dan verwacht passeert het treintje de fotografen.

As the sun rises over Lake St. Clair, the Sam Laud prepares to offload stone in east Windsor.

The MCKEE SONS is seen downbound at the Eagle St. lift bridge on her way out to the lake. She unloaded stone earlier at the Osborne Dock..

She now sits in long-term layup awaiting her fate.

I took this while in a moving boat with my old camera. Just found it and thought it look pretty good.

Went to the Veteran's hospital today, and they ran a bunch of tests and changed my surgery to Monday the 8th. Looks like I'll have a good 4th. If you don't know, July 4th is when the U.S. celebrates its independence. A big holiday over here..;)
