OK, i've been busy... work been hectic, and my old Sony has been playing up, but now have my new Vaio
4 GB ram - 250GB HD - 2.5kHtz Core Duo... FAST!!! oh... and it has a sim card built in so i can go on line anywhere (there is a 3G signal that is!)
Como ya les he dicho estoy terminando de estudiar IngenierÃa en Informática, lo que se convierte en algo estresante, sobre todo los fines de semana cuando debo dedicarme a terminar el proyecto final + las tareas de las demás materias..aunque no se crean que los dÃas de semanas son menos complicados ya que también debo asumir y sacar adelante las responsabilidades del trabajo...

Well, it was good bye to the 17" MacBook Pro (replaced with the 24" iMac). Sold the 17" on eBay and got myself this 'plain' MacBook for traveling. Not a bad little thing, but I do have an issue (which apparently its prevalent with Apple laptops, although I never had it with the Pro) - it will not wake from sleep. It is quite annoying in humans too, but at least they don't need a hard reset.

Found my wife's old iBook & am updating it. We're going to recycle it as a Christmas present for the kids. They can watch videos & play a few games.
So where has this been, you ask? On a shelf. The clock was resetting every time the machine shut down. You might be surprised to learn just how many systems require a proper clock setting, but not the least of which is the WiFi (pretty much any network setting, actually. I finally figured out that it was the PRAM which need to be reset and, after one more reboot, the AirPort (WiFi) was working fine again.
Currently, it is in the very long process of getting two years worth of updates.
