For me this is about as good as it gets with this loco! So here is GBRf's 'Evening Star' 66779 passing the 1863 rebuild of the original 12th century Church of St Nicholas of Mira at Little Langford in the Wylye Valley. The working is the regular '6O41' 10:14 from Westbury to Eastleigh's East yard.The load today being 5-JJA's and 10 HQA's. Well worth the 50 miles round trip for just this one photograph!

During the first full week of a Class 69 operating from Westbury, 69005 'Eastleigh' passes Little Langford in the Wylye Valley on 07/05/25 with 66849 'Wylam Dilley' in the consist of 6O41 10.14 Westbury yard-Eastleigh yard, formed of 6 YKA's now some of the oldest wagons in use.

In snorkelling, we swim with turtles, we saw 3.
It was incredible.

The Class 90 is now operated by 'Locomotive Services Limited' based at Crewe, and has been returned to original 'Swallow' InterCity livery.

LNER A4 pacific 4464 'Bitterrn', races north along the East Coast Mainline past Langford on Saturday 29th June 2013 hauling the Ebor Streak rail tour from London Kings Cross to York with special dispensation to run at 90mph on selected sections.
Please note this shot was taken with a zoom lense on a foot crossing and no trespass was carried out.

Tucked behind the former East Midlands Trains' HST powercar is ex-LNER 91122, then a selection of loco-hauled Mk3s, and 91122+43066 on the rear.
The bizarre-looking formation was working to Bounds Green; one would assume this was for attention to the Class 91s.
