Taken during this year's Open House. Just came out of City Hall (queues were not bad at all - a mere 25 minutes) and felt the need to feed. There's a handy M&S near by and I knew that I wanted to take this point which I had previously made a mental note to take and coincidently I have seen two versions here on Flickr. Almost went for a B&W but resisted the urge as I have uploaded a few recently. I am quite happy how it came out.
Just found out that this area is apparently called 'More London'.

We return to our alternate universe with our modern knowledge to reimagine the iconic imperial lambda shuttle from Star Wars.
Only 80ies parts used. Fits one pilot and a lot of passengers. This was a fun build and im pretty impressed how studfree it could have been made in the mid 80ies allready with the limited part palette. The folding mechanism for the wings works, more pics to follow soon. Cheers
My imperial shuttle is so old it requires an imperial walker now ;) .
But dad jokes aside, it is darn old. Right side of the landing gear doesn't work. And can you see the yellowed parts, especially in the wings? Interestingly, white plates 1x1 are almost tan now, while white plates 1x2 right next to them are almost perfect. And they were all bought at the same time as "new". Go figure.

A non-HDR composition.
One of the classic car shops was doing some tuning to this Lancia's engine, and they were driving around the courtyard to test it.
New cockpit I built for version 4.0 not only looks much more similar to the original but it also gave me more space for PF motor, LED lights and wires. Also, having a bit lower profile than the previous incarnation, it flows better with the main hull (although it is still a bit too high).
The Lambda Orionis Ring is also known as Sh2-264 or the Anglefish Nebula. It's a massive HII region and molecular ring structure. One explanation for the molecular ring is that the molecular clouds in the region were disrupted by a recent supernova blast just one million years ago.
