Taken on Sep 5, 2018 in the early afternoon...
We were hiking the Dinosaur Ridge Trail, in the section on West Alameda Parkway, looking at the southeast direction. Behind me was a long stretch of ridge filled with dinosaur fossils and tracks.
If my memory serves me right, that was not a leisure RV park but homes (houses on wheels) of the miners who worked in the nearby active clay mine, Chieftain Mine.
Pass the RV Camp was the race cars track with a viewing platform, Bandimere Speedway.
The distant sky was hazy, what we didn't know at the time was that a severe rain storm was in the making. In less than an hour, the sky turned pitch black and torrential rain arrived and stayed for hours. We got lucky (again) with the first drop of rain only fell right after we got back into the car!

A quick trip out to Lakewood, to walk around rhe sandstone boulders. What a place! My first time visiting and it was beautiful and practically the whole place to myself.
Zero litter and dog shit. Massive thumbs up from me. Best part was the ducks puts a huge smile on my face. Ah yeah and the sandstone caves filled with Lake water.

Chesapeake & Delaware RB-1 arrives in Lakewood, NJ to run around their train in the siding and move up to switch Woodhaven Lumber (8/4/23).
The group of boys on bikes who escort the SA-31 (running as an extra SA-93 this day) are right on time as they bike ahead of the train along Marys Ave in Lakewood. The train coming through town is the big attraction for Lakewood, as many stop what they are doing to come outside and watch the train go by.
