Veila & a somewhat lively Bess hacking out along Trent Fields. Bess spooked a little at Elder off camera and swerved hard to the right. Thankfully, Veila recovered well and they both continued on.

The new harbour pavilion provides an interesting silhouette as the sunrise peeps through the clouds. The building is scheduled to be finished construction in December 2010.

Warrnambool in the late 1950s. WAK-O owned by John Innes as I recall. Back in those days the Club had power and sailing boats and access to a ski jump and portable canteen and tractor.

The floodwaters of nearly a week ago are still flowing through the Hopkins mouth. The nutrient load in the water combined with strong wind and surf is making the beach look like it has been covered in shaving foam. the waves are like a big washing machine. The effect is most unusual and in some cases looks more like a deep snow drift than a beach.

This one was opportunistic. We were driving along and came to part of the road that was right on the coast just as the sun went down. I literally jumped out of the car, set up my tripod right next to the car and got the shot.
