I think this picture was taken early 1970s. It has some water damage top left, but I thought okay to show on flickr.
She was built in 1966.
By 1978 she was working in Great Yarmouth clearing an oil spill
In 1983 she was working at Hull Docks.
She appears to have been a true East Coast stalwart.
The name Lady Alma was taken by a new tug based in Immingham, presumably when this ship was decommissioned. The new Lady Alma was renamed in 2007 when the company that owned her was taken over. She too is a Tug.
The photograph shows a busy port scene at Grimsby with the Dock Tower in the background - still a landmark today.

Philadelphia 2009
People dancing, partying, and have a good time at Lee Jone's open air Sundae dance party in 2009. This weekly event is held at the the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia each Sunday. This party featured Lady Alma (Alma Horton) and Mark de-Clive Lowe in a live performance. This pairing produced an astounding performance. Get to know Lady Alma!
She did her monster smash "Hold It Down."
