Billi was one of the pretty ladies who made San Diego such an exciting town in the early 60s. A model who loved vintage cars, she enjoyed posing for camera weilding sailors on liberty. It was a chance meeting and one that led to nothing more than an elevation of my appreciation of feminine beauty. I must admit, her legs were much prettier than Grables.

When I first got home and saw this image on the PC,I just thought it was a static image and was ready to discard it, but for some reason I left it, the more I looked at it the more I thought that there was something missing. The only solution I could think of was would it not look great if it look like the dress was moving and so was she…A friend suggested that I should add some motion blur.

So I took into photoshop and added some motion blur. I added a mask on that layer and removed the main part of the image and just left the outside of the skirt.

Once I have saved it I noticed that you could see a bit of her head on the left and side and I was a bit gutted because I thought I missed a bit and would have to go back and do it again. But I kind of like that effect it has, like she is spinning really fast.
