Race day is all about the exhilaration of having a flutter and experiencing the excitement of seeing your horse romp over the line first or the disappointment of seeing it trail in last.
Note: I have no idea who this guys is but I just thought his hat was damn cool.
Fergal Flatlight's photograph edited by me, a Jack Vettriano style painting of two elegant ladies at his local races.
I created the painting on seeing his photo and after seeing it himself, he requested I should add the painting to my flickr stream.
The painting should take nothing away from the amazing photograph posted by Fergal Flatlight of Ireland, I just loved the shot so much I had to create the painted version.

Some of the things Florida is famous for - golfing, nice weather, fun, girls, and oranges. Oranges are abundant here and so when my GF and I met to go golfing we cracked up as we both chose orange golfing outfits, which wasn't planned! I just loved my little pleated golf skirt!! We both played well from the red tees and both had birdies on the same par 3 hole, actually almost had double holes in one! We had a great time golfing but even more fun was taking some pictures of ourselves in our pretty golf ensembles !
These girl friends were having a fabulous day out in San Francisco. Here they are in their Summer frocks even though it was not Summer weather. Never mind that they were braving the elements and having the best time. Later they were behind me on a bus and it was wonderful to here them laughing and having so much fun together. Happy hump day. ^_^
