I apologize for the lack of a good quality photo. My A7 had exhausted all of its batteries, so I was using my RX100 MK2 with some out of whack settings.
One of three caves that were excavated by two brothers more than 50 years ago inside Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, in Escalante, Utah.
These are known as the "Batty Pass Caves." The two brothers, known to Escalante locals as the "Cave Men" mined the area for gemstones and limestone that they used to make items such as chess boards.
The Redler is a Dragon-type Zoid, used by the Zenebas and Guylos empires.
Hey guys! Back with another Zoid! Reference pics can be found here.
This build is actually for the 2014 MocAthalon on Mocpages. My category was "How To Train Your Dragon" and I'm with Team Brick Runners. Members are tagged.
I'll have shots of the vig itself up soon. The category required me to make a dragon, and I figured I'd pull double duty and make it a Zoid as well. I quite like the deisgn considering my lack of purple System parts that aren't tiles. Let me know what you think!

ohhhey galaxies, my love<3
i don't really know what inspired this.. just felt like being colorful today :D hahah.
you guys know what is entertaining? FaceBook fights/arguments. especially when one person is being really funny and whatever about it and the other thinks it's a legit brawl. like ohh goodness people these days! XD
i need to catch up on flickr and on my degrassi's and finish laundry and mow the lawn.
THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOURS IN THE DAY AGH!!
lololol ;)
I <3 you all.
IT FEELS SO GOOD TO BE BACK ON FLICKR <3
Light painted still life. No image has given me as much grief and disappointment as this one. The time consuming and fiddly process of taking it with the slippery, sticky (and expensive to buy) fish sticking to everything else in the set up and being horrible to handle was bad enough. However, the reaction of camera club judges to it has been even worse. One refused to place it in a contest called 'In the Kitchen' because he wasn't convinced it was 'in the kitchen'. Where else would all those raw ingredients be but on a kitchen table? Another 'judge' then said it was 'too dark' - showing an apparent complete lack of awareness of renaissance art or the concept of Chiaroscuro. I give up!!
What it lacks in Megapixels it makes up for in the colors I get out of it! Even thought I have the new Nikon equipment I kept my antique Sony A700 with the Zeiss lens and just enjoy the richness of color that it is able to capture at time like this! I am still fascinated by how the light and colors can change in such a short period of time! Sunset taken at El Franco Lee Park!

Lack of rain in the area, made the creek open up to easily walk along side of it to photograph. While in the fall, spring, and winter this creek can flow just as heavily as a river.
Laziness and a lack of time combined mean I'm not quite sure what building this is, at the High Street end of Turl Street. But anyhow. I'll check. One of these times.
I'm not saying that glorious sun and extremes of shadow are a metaphor to which I can relate.
But boy that sun flare was seductive.
Sorry for the lack of photos, I've been away and then trying to catch up with posting a few YouTube videos.

If you follow my Instagram you may have seen some of the previews of images shot in Romania. With that said you may wonder about this photo but I just love the background rendering. It reminds me of the 90mm Thambar OOF rendering - love it!
A new lens so I was keen to try it on both film and digital! Film to follow! :)

So, at first I'm sorry for lack of activity. I'm still building, but it seems my comp doesn't approve my hobby, and I got some troubles with rendering. Furthemore, LDD servers were a little dead for a week, and exactly at the same time I had to restore Windows on my comp. As a result, I didn't have newest ldd parts database. Thank to one good guy - he sent me db.lif . So, I'd like to spam you with bunch of boring MOCs. I can swamp you with T-26 modifications, or some of old creations, and even some WWI stuff.
This summer has been incredibly dry. As dangerous the lack of water has been it has also brought a different kind of beauty.
I’ve a lack of inspiration... I need to take a breath and try to get new ideas...
... I’m not able to write new poems since months...
therefore I’m going to repost all my 2010’s Project 52, day by day, hoping this will help me...

ero
Perché
del tempo che passa
ho solo un ricordo
un'idea lontana
e a nulla vale lo sforzo
per trattenere la luce
dei giorni migliori
ero
e non più
e mentre sfuoca l'intorno
mi appoggio a quei bordi
indeciso
se toccare la terra
in attesa del volo.

Because
of passing time
I just remember
a far idea
and anything worth the effort
to hold the light
of better days
I was
not more now
and while around blurs
I lean on those edges
hesitant
of touching down
waiting for the flight.

from the first snow of the year, a couple weeks ago. i felt my stream needed a nature shot, it was lacking in them lately.
Short Eared Owl sat in the snow. I managed to get loads of images of this beauty & thought I'd taken everything into account such as exposing for the snow etc, however I only seem to have got a couple of keepers due to a lack of sharpness. In hindsight this is probably due to heat haze from my vehicle as I was shooting forwards out of the drivers window using the door mirror as a rest, even though the engine had been off for a few minutes .... you live & learn!
The colour version of this lacked a bit of impact so I thought I'd try a pseudo Infra-red conversion on this to make the sky go almost black. For once I think it's pretty clear cut that the B&W version is the better one. Anyone disagree ?

The fox is being hassled by the two magpies after it had eaten their recent kill.
Taken through old window glass, this photo lacks some clarity. Open the window and they soon disappear!
Lack of rain made the falls less dramatic than they might have been otherwise.

Despite the lack of activity over the past couple of weeks on Flickr, I’ve been busy working on the American Airlines Dc-10!
Many of you may remember a few years back when I incorporated motorized flaps into my LEGO A380 model. I’m looking to do something similar with the DC-10, but instead of motorizing the flaps I’ve decided to motorize the landing gear.
Most of the engineering has been completed by this point. Some small tweaks still need to be made to the system, but I’m fairly happy with its reliability at this point. The whole system is powered by two powered up large motors and controlled via the phone app. Both the gear bogies and doors swing open and closed. The landing gear are also strong enough to take the weight of the plane which was something that was very important to me.
I’ll keep you up to date with any more progress as it comes out!
The biggest mystery here, which you may have guessed by now, is that this is not in the orient at all. This is in the World Showcase area of Epcot. In some ways, I think, Epcot has the least exciting rides and attractions of the four Disney parks in Orlando. But what it lacks in rides, it makes up for in photo ops!
My best suggestion for photographers is the following. First, if you are staying in a Disney resort, then you get special "night hours" at different parks. Be there on the Epcot night, and make sure you are as far away from the exit as possible when the park closes. Then, you can take your time walking back to the entrance and take as many photos as you like! Everything is well lit, there is nobody around, and security doesn't even seem to mind. No one rushes you out... it's very relaxing and perfect. And, of course, the World Showcase has all sorts of cool buildings, architecture, and landscaping... countless opportunities for great compositions.
I took this photo right outside of a great Japanese restaurant. I forgot the name, but I had some pretty good sushi. I think this place and the California Grill have the best sushi at Disney, if you are into that sort of thing.

This image is probably one of the most personal, and visually meaningful, images I've ever posted.
A perfect storm of stress, depression, illness and a severe lack of sleep over a period of several weeks culminated in putting my head into one of the scariest places it's ever been in, and appropriately enough whilst on a 3 day holiday sabbatical in the mountains of Snowdonia last week. They were 3 days I hope I never have to experience the like of which again. The sense of isolation, of disjointedness from the world around me, of not even being sure who I was anymore was emotionally and mentally excruciating. The nights were the worst, unable to sleep I experienced the full depth of myself while at the same time feeling so terrifyingly distant from everything in existence. Identity and reality fractured, insanity beckoned…
Strangely enough, as much as it scared me, it was finding my depth that was my saviour, that and the love of a woman who reached down into my personal hell, gently pulled me out and helped me see the light again, inner and outer. If she hadn't been there to listen to my ramblings, my fears, and to comfort me in the darkest moments, I dread to think what the consequences for my mental health would have been.
I've thought long and hard about revealing such a personal experience here on flickr, but ultimately I'm willingly to do so if it helps just one person going through something similar to take a risk and reach out and talk to someone they trust implicitly, and maybe you who read this with a sound mind could extend a hand to someone who you know is going through their own personal hell and be the spar they cling onto in their storm tossed ocean, and slowly but surely carry them back to the safety of the shore. Don't worry, you don't have to come up with answers to their issues, it's enough to lend an ear to their fears. I tried to deal it with by myself but badly crashed and burned. I kept quiet because of pride, fear and the belief that no one could help me. They can. Find that person you trust, and talk, talk like there's no tomorrow, don't leave it until you're hanging on by your fingernails like I did.
