In 2000 Grace ran a Labyrinth in St Pauls Cathedral. Following that installation the props were given to an team supporting Feltham Young Offenders Institute. In teh years that followed they have run three Labyrinths a year. This year we have been asked to refresh the props as the previous materials have worn out. So one saturday afternoon a group of us got to gether to redraft the most complex element under the supervision of Steve Colins.

Stone with labyrinthine carvings in the Yorkshire Museum gardens at York, most likely from the ruins of St Mary's Abbey. The labyrinth has a single path in and out (unlike a maze which has dead ends and branching paths) and is often found in places of worship. Large versions on floors made of mosaic or turf are traditionally used for spiritual contemplation while processing along their path.
