The details took a lot out of me, and although I’m not a big fan of the film, I had a lot of fun doing this one. Like most people who grew up before the 90’s, Jim Henson was and is a hero of mine. I hope this is what @the.lost.attic had in mind when she asked me to draw it! Grab a print of this for $12 bucks.
Bon divertissement !
to discovery absolutly, this labyrinth nearly drove me crazy but I loved it:))
I did not find the exit, it will be for the next time. I advise you to take the compass and food to survive for a few days lol. Have fun!
One of 270 unique enamel artworks by Mark Wallinger placed at each station on the London Underground. 'Turf' type labyrinth. Victoria, 3rd August 2016.
These are from last year on a rainy day like yesterday. It's fascinating how this space -- a parking lot really, now used for a big vibrant farmer's market & the occasional corporate bullshit promotion -- is contantly being painted & repainted with labyrinths & designs of all sorts. I can't recall if this one is still there, though I walked through here less than a day ago.

The Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery (also known as the Twin Groves Temple) is a large Buddhist temple complex situated in the Toa Payoh district of Singapore.
We were keen to visit this temple as my parents had done so back in the 1960s, though little of the present structure was recognisable from their photos since the complex has been greatly enhanced and expanded since the 1970s, all in traditional Chinese style. There were a few items here we did recognise though in the sculptures of the main prayer hall (where photography is no longer allowed) and the curious painted wooden dragon-fish hanging in a minor corner, that had intrigued me in one of the old 60s slides (I'd been determined not to leave till we'd found that, despite arriving so close to closing time!).
Today the surroundings of the temple seem rather unsympathetic, with concrete apartment blocks of Toa Payoh's extensive housing estates and a busy main road closing in on the complex from all sides.
Here's another LEGO design project based upon Jim Henson's Labyrinth the Movie. Obviously, I love the movie ;) If you like it you can support it on LEGO Ideas at the following link: ideas.lego.com/projects/112602. Thanks, BuildFiend :)
This is a small spider molting in the woods today, and it's leaving its exuviae behind -- the shed skin after the molt. This is a Labyrinth Spider (genus Metepeira, Araneidae), see this photo of the same spider. (San Marcos Pass, 27 June 2023)

I have a set for labyrinths. They're constructed for a spiritual exercise or journey. There's a variety of ways to use a labyrinth, but usually, they're laid out in a spiral toward the center. The one we found in the Five Senses Garden, part of the Green Belt around Hershey, PA, involves turns. When we got close to the center, and felt we had reach the point at which we would rest, the path turned away, only to bring us there later.
How symbolic of life! As a pastor, I thought this labyrinth was wisely designed.

Down on Sherkin Island during the summer and rushing to catch up with the youngsters I spotted this spider. My first thought was that it was a "Funnel Web Spider". It is not very sharp, indeed it is not sharp at all, but it does give some idea of the little creature. He is there sitting at the entrance to his very complex web waiting patiently for some callers. The deeper c.olour around him is a tunnel approx. 2 inches long and surrounded by looser filaments. I looked it up on the web and it is not a FWS as I thought but appears to be a "Labyrinth Spider" It was a lively wee fellow and darted up and down its tunnel at the slightest movement.
Wikipedia has the following:
Agelena labyrinthica is a species of spiders in the family Agelenidae. It is a widespread species in Europe.
A. labyrinthica build flat plate surface webs connected to funnel-shaped retreats similar to labyrinths, which are typically constructed between low lying grass and vegetation.[1] These webs can be at ground level, or up to 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) from the ground, however, the majority are found approximately 60 centimetres (24 in) off of the ground.[1][3] These spiders are fairly common in Europe and Central Europe, and are typically concentrated in areas near forests and low lying vegetation, as well as in dry grasslands.
