"life" on the edge...

This is Leo, the newest addition to the family. He is a two year old white lab that we got on Fri.

Strobist info: 2x285HV gelled with 1/4 CTO; at left through Sto-fen diffuser @ 1/2; at right through Photek Softlighter @ full power. Close up you can see the reflection of the light stand in his left eye; beauty dish would throw a nicer catch light.

This is Sam, the most excellent border collie/lab who I rave about all the time. This is the best dog in the world. I know that's cliché, but he is.

His black fur sucks all of the light away and I can never photo that does him any justice, but he was lying right in front of the window when I took this shot.
