... wonderful news!!!!

We're back home again and Toby is doing great and happy as always!

He stayed at the intensive care clinic until Friday night and Marianne took good care of him for the last 2 days. He's still on a special diet (no solid food for 10 days, only baby soup) and is having a shot every day. But after so much worries, he's back to us and full of life again!

Thanks to each of you for all your nice comments, get well wishes and positive thoughts!! They certainly reached him!

Estamos de volta em casa e o Toby está ótimo e feliz como sempre!

Ele ficou na cti até sexta de noite e a Marianne cuidou muito bem dele nos últimos 2 dias. Ele ainda está com uma dieta especial (somente comendo sopinha da Nestlé para bebês por 10 dias) e tomando injeções de antibiótico diariamente. Mas depois de tantas preocupações ele está de volta para nós e cheio de vida novamente!

Muito obrigada a cada um de vocês por todos os comentários, votos de rápida recuperação e pensamentos positivos. Tudo isso certamente chegou até ele!

Our ten week old yellow lab puppy, Bella. Lisa and Lauren drove up to Lancaster, PA to the Amish breeders to pick her up.

This is her on the car ride home... Soooooo tiredddddd...

De Labrador retriever of kortweg labrador is een hondenras dat afkomstig is uit Newfoundland en Labrador, en afstamt van de St. Johns-hond. Vanuit dit ras is vanaf midden 19e eeuw in Engeland gekruist met een aantal andere rassen, zoals de Gordon setter, de spaniël, de Flatcoated retriever en de Chesapeake Bayretriever.

De St. Johns-hond werd door de Eskimo's gebruikt voor de visvangst, de labrador werd gefokt voor de eendenjacht en voor de jacht in moerassige gebieden. De retriever heeft rudimentaire zwemvliezen tussen zijn tenen.
