I work for the local newspaper and of all the interesting characters I meet, Penn, the yellow lab who also doubles as a seeing-eye dog, has been my favorite. He's a beautiful angel. I wish he were mine. :)

Mom gave us both a nice bath today . She said that after all that rain we were smelling like skunks! That was not too nice of her saying that, was it?

Un gOrdO divino, revoltoso, con espiritu de cachorro (y bueh algunos tardan en crecer...), destructor de naturaleza (lo cubrimos para que nadie se entere!), muy expresivo, AmOrOso y familiero, no le agrada que lo llamemos -makanudo- le gusta -maka-...y sabe lo que es un abrazo, se prepara para recibirlos!

Heini unser Labrador mit 9 Wochen. Er hat grad Quark bekommen und seine Begeisterung war so gross, dass der Quark bis über seine Augen geflogen ist. Leider leuchten seine Augen auf dem Foto aber ich wollte es dennoch hier zeigen.

OK, I promise I'll stop with the puppy pics - I won't be seeing her again until late July so you all can have a break from my attack of puppy cuteness - can't say the same for my niece, however. Every once in a while Auntie(me!) gets to see her and can't resist the baby pics. I really do take pictures of things other than animals and kids, really!
