Found on Zillow. A fixer-upper, on a lake, with twenty acres, built in 1918. Ticks so many boxes for us, except that fixey-uppey part.
Molly is a labrador puppy who it is thought had a rough start in life. She was thin and underweight when her present owner acquired her. When and where she was born is not known. On her first visit to the vet it was estimated she was around 8 weeks old which made her around 13 weeks of age when this photograph was taken.
She is now part of a family with three children and everyone adores her. With a lot of love and proper feeding she is now the weight she should be and of course this is supplemented with lots of cuddles and play. Affection is quite possibly something she lacked in her early days but she makes the most of it now!
Northern Labrador Tea (Rhododendron tomentosum) covered with light morning frost, is lovely throughout the entire year; an evergreen with a most wonderful scent, like Christmas.
Sam is a trained gun dog with a sideline in big brown "give me a biscuit" eyes.

Ich wollte mich hier auch mal Vorstelle. Mein Name ist Basko, ich bin ein Reinrassiger Labrador ( Rüde ).
Bin auch schon 9 Jahre alt und hab nicht mehr so viel Lust Stundenlang rumzurennen...
mir ist Futter lieber, und ich nehme alles:-))
Zunächst waren Labradors schwarz. Der erste gelbe Labrador, der nicht als Fehlzüchtung betrachtet wurde, war nach Überlieferungen Ben of Hyde, 1899 in der Zucht des Major Charles Radclyffe geboren.

Diesen Labrador fotografierte ich bei Freunden. Die Fellfarbe erinnert an einen Weimaraner.

I photographed this Labrador with friends. The coat color is reminiscent of a Weimaraner.
Just going through some old pictures again, & decided to upload some of Dakota as a puppy.
This was her first days at home. She slept in the family room on this little blue baby rug :D But as soon as my parents got her a kennel, it was outside life for Dakota ;_;
