Making this Dress hit something familiar. A Nod to the Holidays, my church going up bringing, and the icons of the Santo Nino.
I think because of this, it totally gutted me. I never been so creatively drained. Also it was my first attempt at a voluminous gown and the fabrics were so tediously delicate.

BUT What I love About MJ KOO is her unique body. Every time i dress her..I Think, “Such a Shame to cover her up.
I added the suspenders as a continuation of my LaborForce Line, also it needed continuity between the shirt and the shorts. Otherwise I thought it was too disjointed....too hoochie.

It's lined with a Sweet Pink and Maroon Little Flowers on White cotton called Spring Breeze
The exterior of the bubble skirt is a thick canvas like cotton linen with a print of Vintage Hot Air Balloons and aeronautical themes in Purple.
The interior is lined with a Cream Cotton Lawn
A Buttercup Yellow Zipper is inset into the bubble skirt and Along the Empire waist. (OMG...this took forever to figure out. How to inset the zipper and maintain a continuos line of Movement).

In his plot he implements Fertilization 4r, uses green manures, uses stubble for moisture conservation and organic matter production and does not use herbicides. “If we want a good and sustainable production we need to take care of our soils. If not, what are we going to inherit from our children? I want to leave them a preserved soil so that they can continue the work. This is what I try to convey to other promoters, that we take care of the soil and follow ASA practices ”, he explains.

So I extended my Blythe LaborForce line to BJDs. But there’s a problem. Normally, everything is closed up to focus on the functionality of the overall style dress and its button and metal loop closer. The doll would just slide into the dress.
BUT Because the hips are larger than the circumference of the mid-torso; i cannot close up the back...so it’s open in the back and closes with 3 metal snaps...smock style.
But then it seems pointless to also have real working Overall straps.
What do you all think?
Note: I Did make the Empire Waist line just as wide as her hips but then the fit was off. She swam in it.

People Have asked: “Why do I call my recent Creations the LaborForce Line?"
