My project is a series of nature around us. We see a lot of these things but if you look very close you will see how interesting these plants and animals are. For my last self guided project i really wanted to show a closer view of what we see everyday. I usually take very wide angled photos so the idea of just having to focus on only one thing was very appealing to me. For me this reflect on my feelings about the world and how it is more than decoration. I learned to use a macro lens in this project. For my first time I think I did a good job. A decision i had to make for this project was what I wanted to capture because there are so many things you can take picture of outside that have texture and really interesting patterns. My project is successful because I went out of my comfort zone and shot in different photo techniques I wouldn’t usually shoot in. If i could do this project again I would go to many more different places where there’s a lot of open field.
