The label is just a star that I made and then stitched onto the backing before I put it all together and quilted it. I gave it the name because of the quote: "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." The verse I picked was Luke 1:37, "For nothing is impossible with God."
I decided to try making my own labels and I think they turned out pretty good considering I have a $50 lexmark printer - at least they don't look too handmade.. (you know what I mean!) I used cotton printer fabric paper and photo shop. I feel like quite the accomplished graphic designer these days, maybe I should open my own Etsy shop? >:)

Bleh, it took forever to label all the yarn.
These are some thinly spun self-striping skeins that I'll be selling singly instead of in sets.
Having easy to apply, waterproof labels that stick and stay stuck is exactly what Jodi from Rants n' Rascals needed for her son, Trace who's off to camp! Jodi has cleverly used our Photo Wall Art prints in her home too, take a look! goo.gl/5oUeSz
Working with designers leads to some beautifully crafted work getting on our presses. So when Steve and Chris from United Creatives asked us to print these Whisky labels for their client Artisan Scotch Whisky makers Compass Box Whisky Company, we knew we were getting involved in something exciting.
The labels were letterpress printed on our vintage presses in one colour onto a beautiful uncoated label stock. The labels also required a die cut shape which we decided to 'kiss-cut'. This means cutting the shape out of the top sheet of the paper enabling the label to be peeled off the backing sheet in one piece ready to be applied to the bottles.
