This is the bathroom. It is shared between myself and the host family. It has hot water, a tub, toilet, sink, etc. From what I’ve heard from other international students and their housing experience, having a tub may vary. In Brazilian Portuguese, it’s called “banheiro.”

2011 NPS Archaeological stewardship at Merrie Way, Lands End, San Francisco.
In the mid 1890s, there was a small amusement park and concession stands called Merrie Way, just above the Sutro Baths in San Francisco. These stands lasted until about 1920. We are currently excavating at the site of the concession stands at Merrie Way, at the site of a future Visitor Center at Lands End.
