Reptilian aliens disguised as people? More than likely not.
No. However, those disc-shaped bits do look like they might suddenly leap into the air and fly off. What if they are in fact tiny little spaceships and they're filled with tiny little aliens; the vanguard of some invasion fleet from another world. They're about to step out and claim this world in the name of their Mighty Emperor when their ship’s sensors spot some kind of lumbering, giant, hairy bi-peds pointing colossal canons (sic) of some sort or other directly at the ships.
Perhaps they realise the scale of their folly, and stay inside until the Giants move away. They wait a few days and then, when there are no Giants around to watch, they lift off and return to their home world, all plans for invasion shelved... for the time being at least.
