This mosaic of the National Instruments LabVIEW logo was commissioned as a gift for NI, as a thank-you for their hard work on LEGO Mindstorms.
Just to make sure there's no funky business with the water, I have my candy thermometer (actually used for *gasp* cooking!) to double check the temperatures too.
The readings do get a bit noisy when the "burners" are on. Truth be told, since the RTD probe is basically a big coil of wire and since the induction coil emits a pretty high strength field, I was half expecting the circuit to just crash. The fact that I can lay the probe in the saucepan and only get millivolts of fluctuation - well, I'd feel a lot more safe operating this cooktop when someone with a pace maker is around :-)

Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Team at the 2015 Design Expo at Michigan Tech
Team Members: Samantha Wright, Michael Briseno, Christopher Fisher, Jari Sague, and Jasmine Jauquet, Biomedical Engineering
Advisor: Orhan Soykan, Biomedical Engineering
Sponsor: Aspirus Heart and Vascular
Project Overview:
In order to improve current tilt testing data
acquisition, Aspirus Heart and Vascular requests
an integrated continuous monitoring technology
and software display. The current procedure is
either too slow or too invasive, and there is no good
method for data storage and analysis. In response
to this, we created a program that will generate
and display relative data, which will allow for simple
differentiation between various cardiovascular
states. To achieve this, we used LabVIEW as
the software platform and integrated it with a
continuous blood pressure monitoring device, ECG,
and goniometer to display the data in a form that
the physician can view and manipulate as needed.

Keine leichte Sache!
The LabVIEW Physical Computing Kit includes the 32-bit version of LabVIEW Home and is compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP (32-bit and 64-bit).
LabVIEW is a graphical programming platform used for data acquisition & analysis, instrument control, prototyping and more. LabVIEW Home Bundle has made this powerful software affordable for makers and students. But what if you want to connect your LabVIEW projects to the physical world?
That's why we've created the Physical Computing Kits. This version of the kit includes the popular Raspberry Pi 2 platform, combined with LabVIEW Home Bundle, it provides an inexpensive yet versatile way to connect to the outside world.
