the chemistry stool in the kitchen window - we opened the French windows for the first time this year. It was warm - at last. This is an old chemistry lab stool painted pale blue I bought in a junk shop some time ago. I learned chemistry at school and gained fame (amongst the other students) for blowing up a permutit water softener. I also gained respect from the teacher who was clearly afraid of my destructive ability! I failed the subject/
Hello everyone, here is my lab that I made for the mad scientist from LEGO Minifigure series 14, A.K.A. the Monster Series.
I don't really know how I feel about the terrain around and the entrance, but I guess it's not too bad.

Another image for all of you "closet physicists" from the bubble-chamber at Fermi Lab in my personal collection.
Remembering the Turntable Lab ground floor storefront on East 7th Street in the East Village which was originally founded by Peter Hahn and his friends Anthony & Jasper in 1999 as an online store when Peter was DJing while attending NYU. This shop which sells a wide curated selection of vinyl records, turntables, speakers, headphones and other HiFi equipment was the first online store to cater to DJs. Although the East 7th St. store moved to a larger location on East 10th St. in 2017, that location closed during the pandemic in 2020) and they now operate their popular online shop from their warehouse space inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Although we miss “crate digging” for often hard to find vinyl records at their East Village shop, we are happy that this independently-owned vinyl /turntable shop has survived for close to 25 years.

Driving down a country road I stopped for a 'nature break'. I then noticed this clump of weeds and took the original image. After putting it through Topaz Labs Impression and much moving of the effects sliders, I've tried to come up with what I'd love to be able to do with an actual pencil and a piece of paper.
