Fin da piccola ho sempre desiderato andare a Parigi, la famosa Ville Lumiere...non so perchè abbia scelto proprio Parigi e non qualche altra capitale Europea. Forse per l'atmosfera magica che immaginavo guardando le foto della Parigi anni 20, forse per il colosso che vedete qui in foto o forse perchè tutti dicevano fosse la città degli innamorati. Finalmente questo sogno è stato realizzato e le aspettative non sono state deluse, anzi è molto più bella e magica di quanto potessi immaginare. Le luci del Natale credo abbiano contribuito a renderla ancora più bella. Ho amato ogni sua singola via, ogni singolo quartiere, ogni singolo palazzo con la sua architettura elegante. Ho adorato i francesi e la loro lingua, Il Louvre dove tutto ciò che avevo studiato sui libri lì è diventato reale. La crociera sulla Senna e poter ammirare Parigi di notte. E poi ancora il Trocadero, Montmartre con i suoi artisti,gli infiniti Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, la Sainte Chapelle...insomma Parigi è meravigliosa in tutto. Ed anche se non ho visto il sole neanche per un giorno, il cielo sempre cupo, vorrei non essere mai tornata.
Sento spesso parlare del mal d'Africa, ma io soffro di mal di Parigi. Siamo tornati da poco ma vorrei già essere li di nuovo a passeggiare con l'amore della mia vita.

"DARLING NO BAKA!"
Urusei Yatsura (which roughly translates to "Those Annoying Aliens") hit the anime scene in 1981, after it became Rumiko Takahashi's first manga hit. The plot started when the Oni, an alien race, decided to take over the Earth--but not without giving the humans a fighting chance. If Earth's champion could touch their champion, Princess Lum, on her horns, then the planet would be left alone. Earth's champion turned out to be high school student and all around pervert Ataru Moroboshi. His solution? Steal Lum's top and force her to choose between her modesty or her horns. Ataru wins and the Earth is safe, but through a misunderstanding with Ataru, his girlfriend, and Lum, the latter thinks she's been proposed to. She accepts, and now Ataru is stuck with a very powerful alien who electrocutes him when he looks at other women...but is devoted to him nonetheless.
Urusei Yatsura, for many American anime fans who were first exposed to the genre in the 1980s (like myself), is a classic. It also set up Takahashi's tendency towards romance manga/anime where the male and female start off as antagonists, grow to love each other, and the male gets the hell beat out of him (admittedly he usually deserves it). She would reuse the premise for Ranma 1/2 and Inu-Yasha. It's rather obscure now, because its popularity peaked long before the "anime wave" hit the US in the late 90s.
Therefore I was pretty surprised to see Lum at ACen 2016. The fact that her costume is pretty much just a tiger-striped bikini might be dissuading as well. Nonetheless, it was good to see the "old school" represented, and this cosplayer really did a fine job on ol' Lum.

- le temple de Prambanan, que les Javanais appellent aussi Candi Rara Jonggrang, est un ensemble de 240 temples shivaites, construits au ixe siècle sous la dynastie Sanjaya du premier royaume de Mataram dans la région de Java central, à proximité de Yogyakarta. Une inscription datée de 856 marque ce qui est peut-être sa pierre de fondation.
Prambanan est classé au patrimoine mondial de l'humanité par l'UNESCO.
Le temple central est dédié à Durgā Mahîshâsuramardini (c'est-à-dire "combattant le démon Mahîshâsura"), épouse de Shiva.
