I had a dream about a river this morning
We went for night shooting with fast lenses at the historic Murphy Ave in Sunnyvale, California. The street is closed for traffic, and converted into outdoor dining, which gives the scene a European touch.
I processed a balanced, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Ocean Grove, NJ. Woke up at 4:30 a.m. and realized I was still a little late for first light although I was appreciative of the beautiful color gradients in the sky.

I love the galore of butterflies at the Hort Park, i shall visit it biweekly.
I was lucky enought to get a vivid-coloured subject behind to form the bokeh.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Probably one of the hardest picture I've ever taken. Me and Simona had talked about taking a self portrait under that waterfall with the auroras. The most difficult thing was to not to get the lens wet as the spray was every where .We ran over and over again to that rock front and back which was covered in very slip ice, in the end we finally... got it! :=)

Is it any surprise that the quote "'As you value your life or your reason keep away from the moor." by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle comes to mind? Every-time there is a dense fog or mist such as this, the Hound always makes a presence. Although this is much more festive than the picture Sir Doyle painted. Besides in this area it wasn't a hound heard but more of a rooster...The Rooster of the Baskervilles just doesn't have the same ring.....

Cirque de Gavarnie - France
The Cirque de Gavarnie is a cirque in the central Pyrenees, in south-western France. The cirque is 800 m wide (on the deepest point) and about 3000 m wide at the top. It is located within the commune of Gavarnie, the department of Hautes-Pyrénées, and the Pyrenees National Park.
Major features of the cirque are La Brèche de Roland and the Gavarnie Falls. The latter you can see in the centre of the photo.
The Gavarnie Falls (French: Grande Cascade de Gavarnie) is a tiered waterfall in France. With its overall drop of 422 metres, it is the highest waterfall in mainland France.
This is 3 exposures blended together using my advanced Photoshop tonality control and multiple exposure blending techniques. I produced a video detailing these techniques, it's available here: www.zschnepf.com
