Photography made by using a Canon 50mm F/1.8, with light painting and Photoshop editing.

They are totally hamming it up, but I still think this is a sweet photo.

A 7.62X51 LSW or as you cowadoody fans call it LMG. The horrible AR based gas system was switched out to a piston gas system and the upper was converted to be belt fed like the ARES Shrike.

And I can tell you "this has nevva been done before."

If you want the upper I will make a pastie for it.

Credit to shockwave for the grip

Congratulations! In bringing more pairs of shoes than days you are attending a conference, you have unlocked the "Shoes are serious business" badge!

Almost forgot about these...

The LSW Type 1 box at King's Nympton has just received, what would turn out to be, its last repaint. Opened on 1st October 1873 as 'South Molton Road', the station was renamed Kng's Nymton in March 1951. The box contained the obligatory Stevens Tappet frame of 16 levers, including 3 push-pull levers, and lasted until closure on 26th July 1970, when the passing loop was also taken out-of-use and the station reduced to a single platform with basic facilities.

The Squad automatic weapons or Light Support Weapons are squad's weapons used to perform

suppressive or covering fire. Generally they are light, use the same kind of ammo's of the standard rifles,

have a bipod, a quick change barrel system, they are capable of sustained fully-automatic fire and they tipically fire from an open bolt.

Often they use same part of the standard rifles, and sometimes they are just standard rifle whith a heavier barrell,

one of the first examples of this kind of weapon was the Stoner 63, which can be transformed with the appropriate kits into a carbine, an automatic rifle or a SAW.

One the first examples of LSW was the Danish Madsen, in a certain way the Chauchat was a LSW weapon too, as was the BAR M1918A2.

Of course this is just a little table, and a lot of other weapon are missing, in this category there are a lot of

excellent weapons like: IWI Negev NG 5, Howa type 20, CETME Ameli, H&K MG4E and so long...

I flagged as American the FN 249 that's the American version of the original Belgian FN Minimi.
